For all you rabid fans of the soap "The Young and the Restless", TV Guide is reporting that the great Victor Newman is leaving the show.
Apparently, Y&R's parent company, Sony, asked actor Eric Braeden, who has played the iconic billionaire for almost 30 years, to take a huge salary cut. Braeden refused and opted to leave the show. He will exit the show on November 2, when his character is hauled off to Europe for rehab.
Sad day for soap fans.
