Watch this, tape that - Weekend Edition

And on the seventh day, she rested.

Saturday is the one day of the week where I can actually go ALL DAY without turning on the television. You don't have to say anything. I already know. If you must turn on the tube ...

Watch this: "Making His Band" (MTV, 9:00). I know most people aren't fans of mouth-breather P. Diddy, but I always find these shows entertaining. Diddy is showing his vulnerability as he prepares to release a new album. And for once there are people on here who have real talent.

Sunday, 8:00 pm
Watch this: "The Amazing Race" (CBS). The show is an hour long, but it views like it's 15 minutes. Teams take off from Japan as the second leg begins.
Tape that: "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition" (ABC). I haven't watched this in a while, but at least on tape you can fast forward through all the product placement ads.
Also on: "The Simpsons" (FOX)

9:00 pm
Watch this: "Three Rivers" (CBS). I'm going to give it a try since the eye network dropped one of my favorite shows ("Without a Trace") to get this in. Better be worth it.
Tape that: "Desperate Housewives" (ABC). Again with the product placement. I swear Lynette is driving a different Ford vehicle every week.
Also on: Family Guy (Fox); Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime)

10:00 pm
Watch this: "Cold Case" (CBS). Investigating a murder from 1995. At least the music will be from my youth this time, and not from the 1950s.
Tape that: "Army Wives" (Lifetime). Need to be able to skip the ads for birth control and "Project Runway". Enough already! We know the show is on Lifetime now!
See it online: "Brothers & Sisters" (ABC). Hopefully we find out what's ailing Kitty. Whatever it is, I wish they would've given it to whiny Rebecca instead.
